Alhaji Kanja Sesay has turned sod for the construction of a decent accommodation for imams and a three-classroom block at a mosque at New London in Bo,southern Sierra Leone.
It could be recalled that earlier this year,Alhaji Kanja Sesay was in the same community to commission the mosque within which compound the imams’ quarters and the classrooms would be constructed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Alhaji Kanja Sesay said the project was part of the initial project for the construction of the mosque but had been put on ice. He said with the construction and commissioning of the mosque early this year,they had to consider it necessary to implement the Mr. Sesay said the classrooms would boost Islamic education at the mosque and generally enhance the other critical component of the project .
