Super Model Africa is organized in Ghana; the events bring together models from West Africa to showcase their talent on the African stage. Everetta Jestina Taylor who represented Sierra Leone emerged as the 1st Runner-Up for 2021 and because of her incredible performance she was given the franchise to introduce Super Model Africa Sierra Leone. The audition for Super Model Africa Sierra Leone will start on the 10th October and the winner will represent Sierra Leone in the 2020 edition of Super Model Africa in Ghana.

Explaining what transpired in Ghana, the 1st Runner-Up of Super Model Africa 2021, Everetta Jestina Taylor said she is a super model and went through the modelling school in Ghana where she was referred to represent her country in the Super Model Africa and emerged as the First Runner UP. She told the Minister that her focus is now to give back to Sierra Leone by empowering young girls through the Super Model Africa Sierra Leone competition.
In her remarks, Minister Pratt welcomed the First Runner-Up, Everetta Jestina Taylor to the Ministry and congratulated her for rebranding Sierra Leone by participating in the event in Ghana. She noted that participating in event of such magnitude not only helps the individual on a personal front but also helps to showcase the country. She stated that the Ministry is ready to partner with them and that the sector is in the process of putting a group of business cooperation for supporting initiatives like this.
