The significant improvements we’ve witnessed, particularly during the traditionally challenging dry season, are a testament to effective leadership. The consistent provision of electricity, with many areas of Freetown experiencing up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power, is a substantial achievement. This progress not only enhances daily life but also demonstrates the potential for sustainable infrastructure development.
Given Dr. Yumkella’s proven track record and extensive international connections, it is understandable that there would be discussions about his potential as a candidate for the SLPP in 2028. His ability to deliver tangible results, coupled with his global network, could be seen as advantageous.
