David and Adam Enterprise Unveils Gas Station

On 28 March 2021, David and Adam Enterprise through National Petroleum (NP) officially commissioned a new fuel station at Rolal Kamem at Romacca section in the Bakeh Loko chiefdom in Port Loko City North West region. The ceremony attracted relevant stakeholders across the country including NP, Resident Minister North West, Regent Chief of Bakeh Loko chiefdom and various business houses GT Bank and Sierra Leone Commercial Bank. The establishment of the fuel station clearly demonstrates the local content policy in Sierra Leone.
Giving the background of David and Adam Enterprise, the Chief Executive Director, Mr. David Koroma said that David and Adam Enterprise started with fishing and further expanded the business to commodities and Gas Station in bid to reduce the shortage of fuel pump in the District. He said that the Gas Station if established now would be fully equipped with fuel that to support bike and vehicles.
Mr. Koroma maintained that the Enterprise has invested into device ways in both fishery, building materials and other commodities to strengthen the business market in Port Loko City.. He said that David and Adam Enterprise is a community Enterprise owned by the people of Port Loko District, he said that they are working in collaboration with NP as parent body.
Kobi Wealther is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NP Sierra Leone, he described the fuel station as one of the best stations now in the country. He said NP empowers Sierra Leoneans, encouraging them to invest in the oil industry, maintaining that the NP has further expanded to Liberia and has contributed to the economic and jobs opportunity. He pointed out that in 2020: David and Adam Enterprise started the construction of oil gas station in a bid to reduce the challenge faced by the local residents of Port Loko District and its immediate environs. The Gas Station fully consists of super market, restaurant and packing space. Mr Wealther assured the residents of Port Loko that David and Adam is committed to deliver the goods.
Resident Minister of North West Region, Haja Isata Abdulai Kamara expressed thanks and appreciation to David and Adam Enterprise for establishing the best NP in a newly established City in the North West Region. She lauded the commitment of government to promote local businesses. The Resident Minister pointed out that the launching of the fuel station will the salvage of fuel challenges in the city .She called on other meaningful citizens to invest in the oil industry.
