As the Sierra Leone Peoples Party National Delegate Conference draws closer, it’s no secret that Robert Kondema Kargbo- aspiring candidate for the Deputy National Secretary General position has lured the hearts and minds of grassroots supports and delegates for the BO delegate’s conference slated for 17th and 18th Dec. 2021.
Robert Kondema Kargbo commonly called the Legendary ROB is a well-respected Civil Society Activist and Social commentator with in the political spectrum of Sierra Leone. He is the Chairman and CEO of the Heritage Group of Companies and a member of the Board of Commissioners at NATCOM.
As devotees of the party, we’ve been yearning for far too long to have caliber of leaders who fully understand the dynamics of the raising generation, who are down to earth and are willing to move the extra miles in enhancing the empowerment of SLPP members regardless of economic or social status. The person in the likes of Commissioner Robert Kondema Kargbo is the missing link we’ve been sobbing for in actualizing the most desired change. His compassion and love for the grassroots of the party has made him very outstanding among his compatriots.
The passion and public approval of Commissioner Robert Kondema Kargbo candidature as National Deputy Secretary General is impeccable. The Legendary ROB is Undoubtable a household name among the ranks and files of the great SLPP. He has defied the odds, lived up to his political responsivity of mobilizing public support for the Party in areas that are perceived to be stronghold of the Opposition APC. He has acquitted himself so well that even his critics are acknowledging, even if quietly, that for the SLPP to galvanize among supports in having a landslide victory at first ballot in the 2023 elections, then the Legendary ROB will be a force to reckon with in the capacity as Deputy National Secretary.
As one of President Bio’s foot soldiers, Commissioner Kargbo has very instrumental in complimenting the President’s flagship program in providing scholarship opportunities and learning material to schools in derived and hard to reach communities across the country. With his entrepreneur skills, he has help in providing jobs for youths within the party structure and beyond. On countless occasions he has reached out in support to party members even without be asked. He has supported the rehabilitation of some feeder roads within the Eastern Municipality and providing micro credit to SLPP Petty Traders. His love for the party is beyond anything worth thinking of, and with over 15 years in advocating and activism he has positioned himself to take the mantle of leadership as Deputy National Secretary General with credible and clean track records.
